Lettuce participated in the Outernatia Song Contest 17. Their entry was selected through the national final Be Our Star, organised by the Lettucian broadcaster Lettuce Broadcasting Corporation (LBC).
Tamila won the national final and represented Lettuce with the uzbek language song "Zolim".
Be Our Star
Be Our Star is a song contest that will serve as Lettuce's national final to select their entry for the Outernatia Song Contest 17. The competition will be held on 18 October 2015 in Hugo Chávez City.
Competing entries
Seven acts competed in the national final. The competing songs and artists were announced on 22 September.[1] The winning song was decided by 7 professional juries from different countries including Lettuce, Kimmystan, Republica Libera, Gandhara, Porielana, Land of Jhe Freeh and Folkloria.

At Outernatia
All countries, except the host country, were required to qualify from two semi-finals in order to compete in the final; from each semi-final the top nine countries progressed to the final, and a tenth was determined by the International Jury. On 7 January 2016, an allocation draw was held which placed each country into one of the two semi-finals. Lettuce was placed into the Second Semi-final, to be held on 8 January 2016.
In the Second Semi-final, Tamila performed 11th in the running order, following Trešlend and preceding Polland. At the close of the voting "Zolim" had received 44 points from 7 countries, placing Lettuce 12th of 17 competing countries. However, the International Jury ranked "Zolim" first, and thus the song qualified for the final.
In the final, Tamila performed 20th in the running order, following Alteus and preceding Kimmystan. At the close of the voting "Zolim" had received 76 points from 13 countries, placing Lettuce 18th of 21 competing countries.
