The Junior Internatia Song Contest 25 is the 25th edition of Junior Internatia Song Contest. The contest takes place in Mirabella, Victoria and is hosted by the national broadcaster RTV. The contest was won by Victoria with the song Ton e Aysor sung by Yana Hovhannisyan. They achieved a total of 67 points, just 2 more points than the runner up Gandhara. Kimmystan finished 3rd with 59 points.
Hosting Information
Location
On 15 June 2016 , the national broadcaster RTV announced that it had chosen Mirabella as the host city for the contest. The contest will be held at the Bella Theatre, which hosted several editions of the Victorian Internal Selection. It has an overall capacity of approximately 6.000 people.
Mirabella
Mirabella is the capital city of Victoria and is located in Beverly Cake, the northwest part of Victoria. Mirabella is an important global city and financial centre with an urban population of 2.7 million. In the city you can eat traditional Victorian food like a lot of cookies and cakes. You can find the best bakeries of Outernatia there. The most popular product is of course “Beverly Cake”.
This is the first time that the city is hosting the Junior Internatia Song Contest.
Presenter
On 15 June 2016 RTV announced that Sofia Tarasova would be the hostess of the contest. Sofia Tarasova (Ukrainian: Софія Тарасова; born 31 March 2001) is a Ukrainian teen singer and actress. Tarasova represented Victoria at the Junior Internatia Song Contest 24 with her song "Fly High". She placed 1st with 61 points.
Theme
The theme for this edition will be balloons and the slogan will be Fly High!. The reason for choosing this theme is due to the won song of the previous edition. The logo is made by the team in RTV and were presented at the same day as the they announced the host city.
