The New Republic of Saint Eva & Lepland is a country which participates in the Internatia Song Contest. It was formerly known as the Kingdom of the Dysprosian Islands. It is an island group located in the Aeternum Ocean in northern Internatia, and its closest neighbours are Dulcet Ebullience, Irlandia, Volnytaria and Sunetti.
History
The Kingdom of the Dysprosian Islands, as was the original name of Saint Eva & Lepland, was originally colonised by settlers from another continent. Until recently it was an absolute monarchy, but recent events have resulted in the implementation of a government (as well as the gift of Loran Island to the nation of Косма). Since the change, the economy of the country has been failing, up until the discovery of natural resources in the form of gemstones and precious metals on Saint Eva. This resulted in the establishment of the town of New Hope as a home for miners and their families, and it is believed that the discovery will revitalise the economy of Saint Eva & Lepland.
Geography
The islands are located in the Aeturnum Ocean. Lepland was the first island to be colonised by settlers, and three towns exist on the hilly island. Forests are present at both ends of the island. Until recently St. Eva was uninhabited, but explorers found deposits of gold and other precious metals and gems in the Heartache Mountains near Lake Arcanium.
Cars are banned in Saint Eva & Lepland, in an effort to minimise the country's carbon footprint. A monorail system extends between the three main cities on Lepland, and ferries can be booked to cross between Lepland and Saint Eva. Majority of transport into and out of the country is via Woodchester Airport, as the Aeturnum Ocean tends to be rough sailing.

Island Voices
Saint Eva & Lepland's song for the third and fourth editions of ISC were chosen through the preselection Island Voices. Each edition of Island Voices had 10 songs participating. The artist and song that won Island Voices represented Saint Eva & Lepland at the next edition of ISC, with the second- and third-placing artists receiving a wildcard to the next edition of Island Voices. Due to SBC budget cuts, Island Voices was not used to select the Leplandian entries for the fifth and sixth editions of the Internatia Song Contest, with these entries being chosen by internal selection.
The national final was reintroduced on a smaller scale starting with the seventh edition of ISC, in which six songs would participate and only the runner-up would receive a wild card to the next edition of Island Voices.
