Raingate in the Outernatia Song Contest

Raingate participated in the Outernatia Song Contest 15 in Mirabella, Victoria. Their entry was selected through the national final M FEST, organised by the Raingatian broadcaster RGTV. Rita Ora won the right to represent Raingate placing 1st with 75 points with the song "I Will Never Let You Down". At Outernatia, the song qualified from the first semi-final 9th place with 49 points, and eventually came 11th in the final with 75 points.

M FEST

For the third edition of M FEST, instead of using the previous format of two rounds and then a final, RGTV changed the format to having one final with seven competitors in order to give every song and artist a better chance at representing Raingate in the contest. Competing artists and songs were announced on 9 September 2015 and the national final took place in Solitude on 2 October 2015.
