San Remo participated in the Internatia Song Contest 9. The San Reman entry was selected through an internal selection, organised by broadcaster RTSR. Daddy Yankee represented San Remo at the contest in Woodchester, Saint Eva & Lepland with the Spanish language song "Lovumba".

At Internatia

At Internatia, San Remo had to compete in the first semi-final. Daddy Yankee performed 2nd in the running order, following Sibinia and preceding Kosma. At the close of the voting "Lovumba" had received 29 points from 6 countries, placing San Remo 17th of the 21 entries.
