San Remo participated in the Internatia Song Contest 8, marking its debut in the international contest.
Beth represented San Remo at the contest in Violetta, Symphony Isles with the Spanish language song "La Luz". The artist and song were selected internally by broadcaster RTSR. However, San Remo's debut entry in the contest was not very successful, with the song placing second last in the second semi-final of the contest with 33 points.
At Internatia
At Internatia, San Remo had to compete in the second semi-final. Beth performed 10th in the running order, following Grolskira and preceding Oalia. At the close of the voting "La Luz" had received 33 points from 7 countries, placing San Remo 16th of the 17 entries.
