Frostfall is a landlocked sovereign state that is part of the United Principality. It is bordered by Raingate in the north, Gandhara in the east and by Háttųka, V and Almarania in the south. It has a population of around 5.5 million people making it Outernatia's 15th-most populous nation. The official language is English.
Frostfall, as a principality, was established on 11 April 2010 after it proclaimed independence which led to the dissolution of the Rainfall Federation. It is governed under a form of constitutional monarchy, with the current Frostfallen monarch Prince Zayn Malik as head of state. Despite Frostfall's independence and separate foreign policy, its defence is the responsibility of Raingate. However, Frostfall does maintain several small military units. Through its special relationship with Raingate, Frostfall maintains the use of the Rainfall pound as its sole currency and hold an open border policy with the nation allowing for the free-trade of people, goods and services.
Frostfall consists of 5 regions; Frostfall Capital Territory, Western Province, Southern Territory, Peak Province and Mountain State. Its capital city Snowhead is located in the federal capital territory and is one of the most urbanised cities in western Outernatia. Its capital city is Snowhead has an urban population of approximately 1 million citizens.
Frostfall is a top performer in numerous metrics of national performance, including education, economic competitiveness, civil liberties, quality of life, human development; and has a long legacy of social progressivism. It has a close political relationship with neighbouring nation Raingate which has led to the formation of a union called the Rainfall Alliance.

Frostfall is divided into 5 regions each governed by a member of parliament, who is appointed through the mutual agreement between the Price and prime minister of Frostfall. Each region is run by local governments which are in turn governed by the Parliament of Frostfall in the capital Snowhead. These local governments work on local matters within their region and serve as intermediaries between themselves and the main parliament.
