Culture
Etorkis first settlement spoke Basque until the Cheese Era, when rats took over the country, which population surpassed the number of humans. As of rats gained political relevance and following the mutual peace agreements between the species, both came to an agreement that Latin should be the official language of the country. The country also has its own sing language and it's considered one of the two languages adopted by officials.
Since the Cheese Era, cheese is a landmark of Etorkis and the product has became the most relevant symbol of Etorki culture. Etorki cheese is recognized worldwide as part of the country's national identity to the point it's part of Internatian Human Heritage. Nowadays, cheese symbolises 73% of Etorkia's GPD (yearly).
The country has since adopted the Micism, a religion where rats follow a holy leader and his teaching on a search for a better way of living. Once a rat completes its studies, they're ready to become The Mighty Dorime, the leader of Micism.

As for communication, the government has adopted the usage of daily journals and internet messaging systems to get citizens informed. The government, however, is just an unity of elected representatives from each province, and each decision is taken considering every single individual. In order to get the country well informed, as well as gathering the Etorki people in a sense of community, the government created RattusRadio, their official telecommunication company. Listeners can either call, send a message or, for deaf community, enter their website and inform the concerns of Etorki society. People then cast a vote and bills get approved or rejected quickly. The radio also offers entertainment programs and journalistic coverage from external Internatia and Outernatia. Since then, their major goal is to participate in Outernatia Song Contest to strenghten ties within community and showcase the Etorki way of living.
