Background

This was the first edition of ISC that SealTV broadcasted, following SBC's privatisation. The contest was fraught with problems, the most noticeable of which was the host broadcaster BIT cutting transmission of the contest before the results were presented. The results were later reconstructed in Esonáth, Lost Islands; by this time Saint Eva & Lepland's televoting data had been lost, resulting in the final votes being completely determined by a jury, though some effort was made to ensure consistency with the 50/50 votes of the semi-finals.

ISC 10 was also the first time that Saint Eva & Lepland gave 12 points to the eventual winner. This also occurred in ISC 40.
