San Remo will participate in the Internatia Song Contest 10. The San Reman entry was selected trough Festival Nacional de la Canción 1, a televised national final that consisted of one final. Julieta Venegas will represent San Remo with the Spanish language song "Me Voy".

National final

The first edition of Festival Nacional de la Canción was held in the capital Rhea. Five acts competed, four Spanish songs and one Portuguese song. The winner was decided by 11 professional juries from different Internatian countries, who awarded 12, 10 and 8 points to their 3 favorite songs. "Me Voy" won by a 26-point margin, having been ranked first by five of the juries.
