San Remo will participate in the Internatia Song Contest 11. The artist and song were selected trough the second edition of Festival Nacional de la Canción, a televised national final. Tânia Mara won the national final and thus she will represent San Remo in Amor, Marvelia with the Portuguese language song "Febre de Amor".
National final
Santo António, the capital of the department Astralia, was the host city of the second edition of Festival Nacional de la Canción. Again five acts competed, four Spanish songs and one Portuguese song. The winner was decided by 11 professional juries from different Internatian countries, who awarded 12, 10 and 8 points to their 3 favorite songs. "Febre de Amor" won by a 2-point margin, having been ranked first by two of the juries.
