Gandhara participated in the Outernatia Song Contest 16 in Suacaerus, Auspikitan. Their entry was selected through the national final Nights of Gandhara, organised by the Gandhari broadcaster Radio and Television of Gandhara (RTG).
Gülyaru won the national final and represented Gandhara with the Uyghur language song "Shirinjan".
Nights of Gandhara
Nights of Gandhara is a song contest that served as Gandhara's national final to select their entry for the Outernatia Song Contest 16. The competition was held on 25 October 2015 at the Minna Theater in Rhea and was presented by Myriam Fares.
Competing entries
Five acts competed in the national final. The competing songs and artists were announced on 10 October 2015.[1] The winner was decided by 8 professional juries from different countries, who awarded 12, 10 and 8 points to their 3 favorite songs. "Shirinjan" won by a 20-point margin, having been ranked first by five of the juries.
The fourth placed song, "March On" by Safura, was sent as Gandhara's entry to the Internatia Second Chance Contest 24, and went on to win the contest, bringing Gandhara their second consecutive victory.

At Outernatia
All countries, except the host country, were required to qualify from two semi-finals in order to compete in the final; from each semi-final the top nine countries progressed to the final, and a tenth was determined by the International Jury. On 4 December 2015, an allocation draw was held which placed each country into one of the two semi-finals.[2] Gandhara was placed into the second semi-final, to be held on 15 December 2015.
In the second semi-final, Gülyaru performed 9th in the running order, following Lettuce and preceding Raingate. At the close of the voting "Shirinjan" had received 33 points from 6 countries, placing Gandhara 10th of 14 competing countries.
