Gandhara hosted the Outernatia Song Contest 9 in Rhea after winning the Outernatia Song Contest 7 with the song "Aman" performed by Myriam Fares. Their entry was selected through the national final Nights of Gandhara, organised by the Gandhari broadcaster Radio and Television of Gandhara (RTG).[1]

Samira Said won the national final and represented Gandhara with the Arabic language song "Mazal".

Nights of Gandhara

Nights of Gandhara is a song contest that served as Gandhara's national final to select their entry for the Outernatia Song Contest 9. The competition was held on 26 April 2015 at the International Convention Center in Manas and was presented by Myriam Fares & Neshan Der Haroutiounian.

Competing entries

Five acts competed in the national final. The competing songs and artists were announced on 13 April 2015.[2] The winner was decided by 8 professional juries from different countries, who awarded 12, 10 and 8 points to their 3 favorite songs. "Mazal" won by a 8-point margin, having been ranked first by three of the juries.

Samira Said performed 7th in the running order, following Ponásikwa and preceding Victoria. At the close of the voting "Mazal" had received 35 points from 7 countries, placing Gandhara 16th of 21 competing countries.
