The Internatia Song Contest –1 8 was the 8th edition of Internatia Song Contest –1, a spinoff of Internatia Song Contest dedicated to retro songs. The contest was organized in Kaledonii by the local broadcaster RTK for the first time, thanks to the victory of Cyndi Lauper and her song "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" which won Internatia Song Contest –1 7 held in Tashkveny.
