Dysprosia participated in the Internatia Song Contest 1 in Sansails, Spirevo. The first Dysprosian entry was internally selected by broadcaster DBC. The chosen entry was "Nothing But Dreams" performed by New Zealander Tina Cross. The song won the 1979 South Pacific Song Contest, but was unable to replicate this success at Internatia Song Contest; it finished 5th out of eight songs, scoring 38 points in total. DBC was criticised for not doing enough to promote the song across Internatia, a criticism which was taken into account with Saint Eva & Lepland's future entries.
