Asankon participated in the Outernatia Song Contest 39 in Spinachia with the song "Kalina" by Alyosha. The song was selected via a National Final called GASCA.

Before the Contest

After a national final was held the previous edition, the broadcaster ARTVC decided to hold yet another national final. They rebranded the competition and reduced the amount of entries to 4. The new contest was renamed to GASCA (Grand Asankoni Song Contest Awards). 5 international juries submitted their votes for three entries. P!nk with 'What About Us' was originally supposed to be in the line-up but was disqualified after it emerged that she would represent Oalia in the Internatia Song Contest 63. Alyosha unanimously won the vote and the right to represent Asankon in Spinachia.

At OSC 39

Semi-finals

Asankon was drawn to perform 3rd in Semi-final 1, between the songs from Nickymania and Gaulia . It ranked ninth in the semi-final with 56 points.

Finals

Asankon was drawn to perform 19th in the final, between the songs from Raingate and Oalia. It received 69 points (12 points from Folkloria and Polland) , ranking 13th in the contest enough to be on the left hand side of the scoreboard.
