Grolskira participated in the Internatia Song Contest 9 in Woodchester, Saint Eva & Lepland and selected their song through national final, called Lakmosoja Y Lakma 9, organised by GLTV. The winner of it was Kelly Clarkson with the song "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)".
Grolskiric entry received a lot of negative comments on their "unoriginality" this edition, with Spirevo even assigning the entry a 'negative nickname'. Despite all this, Grolskira managed to qualify for the first time in the semifinal era. But didn't do well - placed only 23rd among 25th finalists.
Before all this, Grolskiric delegation got into trouble with presenting the official MP3 of their entry for the official ISC 9 CD on time, but suddenly SBC (host broadcaster) did find out a spare file for the competition as the rumours say, and Grolskira was quite allowed to compete. Although since ISC 14, Grolskira remembers to forward their necessary ISC information during the HoD meetings, including the MP3s for the official ISC CDs.
Despite not voting in the other semi than the one they compete in yet, GLTV alone revealed that due to the huge popularity of Rötenrod's last representatives, Muse, had they voted now, Rötenrod would've received 12 points in Semifinal 2.
