The national final had 12 songs, all countries suggested 4 songs each. The theme of this edition had to be to send not only songs from 2010's release, but also half of the country's choices will have to be from 2000's decade.

Grolskira, as the host entry, was an automatic finalist, which meant that they qualified without having to go through the semifinals, as a reward of winning ISC 39.
 
Grolskiric broadcasters GLTV and GrolSat made an agreement with NTS, the national broadcaster of Sanlyona, to allow Grolskira choose their ISC 41 entry. The Auspiki broadcaster ABC wanted to send the same artist that Sanlyona sent to ISC 41 to the MMF NF but was talked out of submitting it and instead bid Audien & Lady Antebellum's collaborative effort.

Grolskira participated and hosted Internatia Song Contest 41 in Nolvena after their win in Internatia Song Contest 39. For this edition they decided to select their song via the joint final together with  Alteus and  Auspikitan called "Modern Music Festival Edition 3: Not So Modern". But due to special circumstances, the Grolskiric entry that won in this NF ended up representing Grolskira in Internatia Song Contest 42.
