Tikata will participate in the Internatia Song Contest 14 in Lovendalen, Luzze, and will select their entry through a televised National Final (Tikovisia), organised by the Tikatan broadcaster RTRT.

Tikovisia 8

On 3 July 2013, RTRT announced 5 artists that will participate in Tikovisia. The winner will be decided by a mix of televoting (from all nine Tikatan states that will vote separately) and jury voting.

At Internatia

Tikata was allocated to compete in the first semi-final on 18 August for a place in the final. In the first semifinal, Tikata performed 13th, following Lacrea and preceding Spirevo. Emeli Sandé received 77 points and placed 3rd, thus qualifying for the final on 1 September.

In the final, Tikata was drawn to performed 20th, after Novatlantida and preceding Kosma. Emeli Sandé scored a total of 109 points and placed 8th.
