Alteus participated at the Outernatia Song Contest for the first time at the 12th edition in Hugo Chávez City, Lettuce.

Alteusian participation in OSC would have been a one-off event. However, due to rule changes in the contest, the country became a permanent participant from 16th edition onwards after BovineTv vote more than four times as part of International Jury. Alteus was the third country from Internatia to participate in the contest.

From 61th edition onwards, Alteus, along Auspikitan and Timivar was permanently banned to participate by the OBU Executive Committee for fraudulent practices and irregularities (including vote exchanging) during past contests.
