Asankon is making their Outernatia Song Contest debut in the 37th edition with the song "Attention", performed by Charlie Puth.
History
Asankon performed in the second semi final of the 37th edition of the Outernatia Song Contest in the second half of the show. It was revealed that Asankon was amongst the 11 qualifiers of the Semi Final after they placed 6th in the semi final. They improved on this score in the final by getting 4th place with 117 points making them the most successful debut nation of the edition.
For the 38th edition, Asankon had held a national final, The Asankoni Song in which 6 songs competed to represent the country at the contest in Kaministiquia. In late August, it was announced Rudimental featuring James Arthur's infectious song "Sun Comes Up" came out victorious. ARTVC are yet to decide whether they will continue using the national final format.
