Kimmystan will participate in the Outernatia Song Contest 16. Their entry was selected by the Kimmystani broadcaster KimmiTV (KTV) using the Kimmystan NF. This NF was originally planned to select the OSC 17 entry but instead the winner will represent Kimmystan in OSC 16.
Kimmystan NF5
Kimmystan NF5 will be a song contest that will serve as Kimmystan's national final to select their entry for the Outernatia Song Contest 17. The competition was held in Nordfjord and will be presented by Kim The Great.
The winner of Kimmystan NF5 will represent Kimmystan in OSC 16 and the 2nd place of Kimmystan NF5 will represent Kimmystan in the 17th edition, while the 3rd place will represent Kimmystan in ISSC 24. KimmiTV decided this because of a tie in the 2nd place.
Competing entries
All of the artists competing for this edition was personally selected. There will be 10 artists from different areas of Kimmystan, while only one of them will win.

At Outernatia
Margaux Avril represented Kimmystan with her song "Lunatique". She took part in the First Semi Final where she performed as the 3rd act of the evening and she managed to qualify to the Final after achieving a good 4th place with 77 points. In the Final she was set to perform as the 16th act and in the end of the voting she ended up on the 11th place with 70 points. This is the 2nd worst results that Kimmystan has achieved in the OSC, and the first time since OSC 10 that they ended up outside of the top 10.
