Riya-Sampetrina is currently participating in the Outernatia Song Contest 42 in Wyverncliff, Alteus with the Scots Gaelic folk song "Sleepy Maggie" by Canadian folk musician Ashley MacIsaac featuring Mary Jane Lamond, selected internally by the national broadcaster Radio-Televisi Riya-Sampetrina (RTRS).

Internal Selection

Originally, Liz Callaway was selected by RTRS to be performed with the song "Journey To The Past", but due to holiday time constraints by the performer herself, RTRS has decided to put it off. Instead, Canadian folk musicians Ashley MacIsaac and Mary Jane Lamond were selected.

Semi-final

Riya-Sampetrina was drawn 8th in Semi-final 1, performing between Mărium and Ladoga.
