Riya-Sampetrina participated in the Outernatia Song Contest 41 in Jokkmokk, Kimmystan with the song "Over Everything" by Australian-American psycheledic rock duo Courtney Barnett & Kurt Vile, selected internally by the national broadcaster Radio-Televisi Riya-Sampetrina (RTRS). With only 18th place and 36 points, it failed to advance to the final.
