The Republic of St. Olaf made its debut at the 10th edition of the Internatia Song Contest. The country was represented by Luciana and the popular television figure Betty White with the song "I'm Still Hot". Due to political turmoil in the former Republic, SOUT did not send a commentator or stage a vote and was subsequently disqualified. The song had tallied 53 points.
In 2014 the country ousted its president and returned to a monarchy after 54 years. See St Olaf in the Internatia Song Contest for more information on the participation of the current state of St Olaf.
