Huania participated in the Internatia Song Contest 42 held in Baus-Ia, Nicolas' Neighbour. Huania was represented by the song "Ingrid" performed by Johanna Kurkela, which failed to qualify from the first semi final, placing 19th with 42 points there.

Internal selection

Huania selected their entry internally. It was the second time when Johanna Kurkela represented Huania in the Internatia Song Contest, and it was the sixth time for Johanna in the Internatia Song Contest in overall as she had represented Sunetti, Yazminia (with Tuomas Holopainen), Dvipantara and Kosma (part of Live Aid Uusi Lastensairaala 2016) in the contest. However, the ISC 42 participation was the first non-qualification for Johanna, and later, they represented Ponásikwa in the Internatia Song Contest 43, where she failed to qualify for the final as well.

At the contest

Huania performed as a 12th act in the 1st semi-final, resulting a 19th place with 42 points, and therefore failing to qualify for the final.
