Aonach participated in the Internatia Song Contest 17 in Liechgrado, Yazminia. The Aonachian entry was selected through an internal selection, organised by the Aonachian broadcaster Radio-Télévision de la République Aonach (RTVRA) RTVRA selected female singer Tone Damli Aaberge internally to represent Aonach at the ISC 17 in Liechgrado, Yazminia. She placed 7th in the contest, with 134 points, marking Aonach's third top 10 result of the contest.

Details of Selection

Due to poor results achieved at ISC by the participants that won AonachFest, RTVRA decided to skip the national selection, and chose internally. They picked Tone Damli Aaberge, who had massive success in the nation with the songs "Butterflies", 'Smash' and 'Fever', to sing the ballad 'Winner Of A Losing Game'.

ISC 17 Result

During the semi-final allocation draw in Liechgrado, Aonach was drawn in the second semi-final. It was decided that Aonach would perform 3rd in the running order, following Beige and preceding DimkaRUS. Aonach qualified from the semi-final and competed in the final on the 30th of November 2013, Aonach's 6th consecutive qualification. During the winner's press conference for the first semi-final qualifiers, Aonach was allocated to compete in the 6th slot of the final.

Tone Damli came 7th in the final, which was Aonach's third top 10 placing at the contest so far, as well as their 2nd best placing of all time. Her performance was seen as powerful by most viewers. She returned home to a huge welcoming party at Láirge International Airport.
