Aonach participated in the Internatia Song Contest 19 in Rosetown, Pebbleland. The Aonachian entry was selected through an internal selection, organised by the Aonachian broadcaster Radio-Télévision de la République Aonach (RTVRA) RTVRA selected singer Laura internally to represent Aonach at the ISC 19. She placed 26th out of 27 in the contest, with 63 points, Aonach's worst placing to date.

Details of Selection

Due to the poor result achieved at ISC 18, RTVRA decided to skip the national selection, and chose internally. They picked 25 year old singer Laura, to represent Aonach, with the up-tempo electro-pop song '2020'.

ISC 19 Result

During the semi-final allocation draw in Rosetown, Aonach was drawn in the first semi-final. It was decided that Aonach would perform open the entire contest, preceding Atsoumpalia. Aonach qualified from the semi-final and competed in the final on the 1st of February 2014. During the winner's press conference for the first semi-final qualifiers, Aonach was allocated to compete in the 12th slot of the final.

Laura came 26th in the final, which was Aonach's worst placing to date in the contest. It was revealed that she had done very well in the semi-final, coming 5th. Questions remain at why she ended up doing so poorly, as Aonach was seen as one of the nations that was predicted to do well, as well Laura having a flawless vocal performance and an impressive visual performance. Most media see this result as the point at which Aonachian interest declined severely in the contest.
