Aonach participated in the Internatia Song Contest 15 in Tramandi, Tikata. The Aonachian entry was selected through an internal selection, organised by the Aonachian broadcaster Radio-Télévision de la République Aonach (RTVRA).Shy'm represented Aonach with the song "Prendre L'Air". She placed 9th in the contest, with 102 points, marking Aonach's second top 10 result of the contest.
Internal Selection
It was revealed after the 14th contest that RTVRA had internally approached French singer Shy'm to represent the nation at ISC after her two runner-up entries in the two previous national finals. She agreed, and entered with the song that came 2nd in Aonach Fest 14, "Prendre L'Air", which has been described as an up-tempo pop song with R'n'B elements.
At ISC
During the semi-final allocation draw in Tramandi, Aonach was drawn in the first semi-final. It was decided that Aonach would perform 4th in the running order, following Keohretcha and preceding Anselmsuusonia. Aonach qualified from the semi-final and competed in the final on the 30th of September 2013. During the winner's press conference for the first semi-final qualifiers, Aonach was allocated to compete in the 6th slot of the final.
Despite being a strong favourite for victory with the bookmakers, as a strong start in the voting, Shy'm eventually faded from contention, ending 9th in the end with 116 points. It was revealed later that Aonach had won the first semi-final with 108 points.
Aonachian media and TV viewers alike described Shy'm's final performance as being vocally weaker than her semi-final performance, despite an impressive visual performance, and this may have contributed to the drop in the scoreboard.
