Aonach participated in the Internatia Song Contest 16 in Pensa, Anselmsuusonia. The Aonachian entry was selected through the national final, AonachFest, organised by the Aonachian broadcaster Radio-Télévision de la République Aonach (RTVRA). One of the rank outsiders, the young female singer, Rennata, won AonachFest and represented the nation with the song "Please Stay" at ISC, where she came 20th out of 27 with 80 points. This was Aonach's worst placing to date at the contest.
Details of Selection
RTVRA organised AonachFest in order to determine the Aonachian representative for the ISC 16 in Pensa, Anselmsuusonia. Six songs competed in the final, and the voting comprised of 50% SMS voting by the public and 50% Jury Voting.
Jury Voting:
The Jury Voting comprised of a five member jury from 10 Internatia nations that observed each performance and voted on their favourites.
Televoting:=
The 50% SMS voting comprised of ten regions' votes - the four states of Aonach, the four state cities of Aonach, an internet vote as well as the overall SMS voting of the nation. 475,000 votes were recorded to have been recevied.

ISC 16 Result
The favourite of both the televoting and jury vote was Rennata and 'Please Stay'. Her victory was seen as a shock to most viewers and local media due to her relative anonymity, as well has her victory over well-known stars such as Polina Gagarina and The Blizzards. Indeed, bookmakers had her as the rank outsider leading up to the contest.
During the semi-final allocation draw in Pensa, Aonach was drawn in the first semi-final. It was decided that Aonach would perform 22nd in the running order, following Territrius and preceding Puntikov. Aonach qualified from the semi-final and competed in the final on the 31st of October 2013. During the winner's press conference for the first semi-final qualifiers, Aonach was allocated to compete in the 21st slot of the final.
Rennata came 20th out of 27 with 80 points in the final. Her final performance was seen as being vocally flawless despite her inexperience, but her song failed to stand out due to the strength of the field.
