Aonach participated in the Internatia Song Contest 22 in Tuscan City, Beige. The Aonachian entry was selected through an internal selection, organised by the Aonachian broadcaster Radio-Télévision de la République Aonach (RTVRA) RTVRA selected the all-male rock band Coronas internally to represent Aonach at the ISC 22. They failed to qualify from the first semi-final, ending up 19th with just 44 points.

Details of Selection

Due to poor results achieved at ISC by the most recent contestants, RTVRA remained committed to choosing the entrant internally. For the very first time, RTVRA chose male artists to represent them - the rock band Coronas. They agreed to sing the song, "Closer To You", at the contest.

ISC 21 Result

During the semi-final allocation draw in Stettino, Aonach was drawn in the first semi-final. It was decided that Aonach would perform 2nd in the running order, following Haven and preceding Yutuland. Aonach did not qualify from the semi-final. It was revealed that The Coronas were not close to qualifying - they placed 19th in the semi-final with just 44 points.

TV viewing figures were recorded as being at an all-time low for this particular edition of the contest, due to the lack of publicity surrounding the artist chosen, as well as the failure in the semi-final.
